Recorded Event: The Environmental Protection STEM Solutions at innovation International
Date: May 9, 2026 Time: 9:00AM EST
Objective: Showcase a number of solutions that are being developed at Innovation International such as:
- The Sustainable Food Production that uses modern food production methods integrated with renewable energy making them sustainable
- The Light Up My World Project that plans to deliver rechargeable LED lamps with solar panels to students in need worldwide
- The Solid State Air Conditioning that uses new material capabilities such as elastocaloric instead of harmful coolants to generate cold air
- The Sustainable Nuclear Energy that uses new technologies that are much better controlled, eliminate the risk of catastrophic failures, reduces nuclear waste and capable of creating much more power
- Seaweed to Bioplastic experiment that aims to eliminate the invasion of sargassum on the coast of the Caribbean and Florida to create a pastic that are biodegradable
- The Water Quality Vessel that is created to monitor the water quality through remote capabilities with plans already setup to protect the manatees in Florida, the freshwater mussels in Indiana (at risk of extinction), the freshwater sardines (at risk of extinction) and a pond used for drinking water in Ghana
- The STEM Experiment we are planning to study the effects of solar radiation on plant seeds that are going to be sent to outer space on NASA flight RB-10 with the objective of creating a food production system that can be used in the colonization of other worlds
- The Realtime Monitoring of the Earth's Magnetosphere we are planning to work with NASA to better study the possibility of Earth's magnetic pole reversion that can be a cause of an extinction event
